Welcome Deacon Keith

Our Chancellor, Father Blanda, and Dr. Arabie are pleased to announce the welcoming of a new School Chaplain, Deacon Keith Duhon, for the 2021-2022 school year. We are grateful for the years of service that Father Albert has provided in this position and for his desire to stay as involved in the life of the Catholic High community as much as possible.

Deacon Keith Duhon was born in Lafayette and grew up in Maurice, LA. He graduated from North Vermilion High School in 1981 and attended USL(UL Lafayette). He has been married to Lisa for 32 years and has 2 children, Spencer(27) and Victoria(26) and 2 grandchildren, Remi and Lillian. He has ordained a Deacon in 2012 and was assigned to Our Lady of Wisdom for 6 years. He is currently assigned to St. Joseph’s in Milton, LA which is also where he and Lisa have their home. After ordination, he served the diocese as an Assistant Formation Director of the Permanent Diaconate for 7 years. Prior to and during Diaconate formation, he and Lisa served in High school youth ministry for 10 years at Our Lady of Lourdes in Erath, LA.

Deacon Duhon will be welcomed with the full support of our Board of Pastors, Administration, and our Religion Leadership. He will have a daily presence on campus working with both faculty and students.
