Patrick F. Taylor Awards Certificates
There are many ways students gain recognition for their academic success.
The Taylor Scholar Awards is in its 25th year on a statewide basis. This award is presented by the Patrick F. Taylor Foundation. Students who are at or above a 2.5 GPA by the end of the 3rd grading period receive free memberships to Louisiana’s finest museums and attractions. Over 220,000 students in the 7th – 12th grade have received recognition for their grades from the program last year. The students who met the criteria for the award will be issued a certificate by the Taylor Awards Foundation.
This year the foundation has added grade 6 to the awards. All students in grades 6 – 12 who are at or above a 2.5 GPA as of the end of the 3rd grading period will receive a free 1-year membership to all of the New Orleans attractions. These attractions are the Audubon Zoo, Aquarium of the Americas, and the New Orleans Museum of Art.
455 Catholic High students from the 6th – 12th grade will receive this award. This award encourages students to keep up their academic success throughout the school year and finish strong. Congratulations to our students.
These certificates will be distributed to the students through their religion classes during the week of April 26th. We are unable to reissue lost certificates.
