Sudden Impact for Sophomores

Louisiana State Police and Lafayette General Medical Center are ready to make a SUDDEN IMPACT on our sophomore students. Once again this year, we are excited to have our students participate in the Sudden Impact Driving

Program

This year the program is being held at Catholic High School in the Disch Gym on Tuesday, March 16th. Sophomores will attend first period and then be excused from classes for the day to participate in this program. Students will hear from law enforcement professionals who work accidents and investigate crashes; they will also hear from health care professionals who care for patients and families following crashes.

Students should report to school at the normal time and attend 1st period. Students should bring a bag lunch to be eaten in the gym or just outside during a lunch break.  They will not receive lunch from the cafeteria that day.  Students must wear regular uniform and ID, wear masks, and distance during the day, as normally required.
