COVID-19 Continuity Plan for CHS

UPDATE: April 16, 2020

On Thursday, April 16, 2020, Bishop Deshotel issued a letter announcing that the physical campuses of schools of the Diocese of Lafayette would remain closed for the remainder of the 2019-2020 school year. Seniors will complete online coursework through Friday, May 1, 2020. Distance learning will continue through Thursday, May 14, 2020, for grades 4-11.

The physical campus of Catholic High School will be closed March 16 through April 13, 2020, with plans to return to school on Tuesday, April 14, 2020.   through April 30, 2020. The earliest school will resume will be the first week of May (updated 4/2/20).

All services will be provided virtually or electronically during this time. On this site, you will find a comprehensive plan that contains information on all aspects of school life during this closure.

The Office of Catholic Schools of the Diocese of Lafayette, under the advice of the bishop, is closely following requirements regarding procedures for COVID-19. Should any additional changes arise, we will make announcements via our usual channels: email, social media, and news outlets.
