ACTA NON VERBA
LIVING OUR MOTTO THROUGH THE PILLARS OF
FAITH, FAMILY, AND FOUNDATION
After a spotty start to the calendar year due to multiple freezes, we finally got a few full weeks in. And what a fabulous few weeks they have been! Our students weren’t even back in school when they gave up a Saturday to attend the diocesan Pro-Life Rally and March in Lafayette. Catholic Schools Week afforded us the opportunity to give thanks for so many facets of our lives, gather with our feeder school to kickoff both schools’ centennial celebration, and celebrate the gift of Catholic education. Students collected toiletries for diocesan housing and shelters as well as change for the Social Service Center, wrote letters of thanks to first responders, and celebrated mass and a picnic with the St. Edward Pandas. Last week, that spirit of family continued with an amazing show of support for the child of one of our own. In one day, the Panther family raised over $5,700 to contribute to the care of Curtis Davis.
Our students, our faculty and staff, and our community are all a part of the Catholic High family. THIS is what we are about. The beauty of this time and the pride we feel as a Catholic High family cannot be expressed in words alone.
