Camo for Curtis
CAMO FOR CURTIS
Friday, February 9, 2018, will be a very special Pay to Dress Day.
On Saturday, January 13, St. Edward second grader Curtis Davis was involved in an accident that left him in critical condition with serious brain trauma.Curtis is the 8-year-old son of our Admissions Director, Mrs. Adrienne Spiller Davis (CHS 2000) and her husband, Brad. He is the eldest of three. He loves to hunt and he loves camouflage attire.
The past three weeks have presented multiple challenges for Curtis as doctors in Mississippi worked to save his life. There have certainly been moments of light for the Davis family as our community surrounds them with prayer, and Curtis has had little victories of his own as he slowly clears the huge hurdles before him. While the full extent of his injuries is still unknown, we do know that his family will need help with his ongoing care.
Friday, Feb 9, 2018, will be a “Camo for Curtis” Day. Proceeds from this special Pay to Dress day will be given to the Davis Benefit Fund through Community First Bank. Students may wear camouflage attire. The usual Pay to Dress guidelines for appropriate attire do apply.
You can follow Curtis’s little victories and join us all in prayer for him on his facebook page, Prayers for Curtis.
