WHY CHS?

At Catholic High School, learning happens! Whether it is a part of academics, athletics, citizenship, or personal and spiritual growth, learning happens every day! A vital part of the New Iberia community since 1918, Catholic High, a member of the schools of the Diocese of Lafayette, serves families from Iberia, St. Martin, St. Mary, Vermillion, and Lafayette Parishes.  With the unique configuration of grades 4 through 12 on one campus, CHS provides continuity in its educational program and creates bonds between students, parents, faculty, and administration during the child’s years at the school. Committed to bringing academic excellence and Christ-centered values to its students, Catholic High is dedicated to creating confident, self-directed, lifelong learners who keep Christ at the center of their words and actions.
