Torch of Knowledge Award Applications Due Wednesday

 In Academics

The awards “season” is quickly approaching and there is one award I wanted to call your attention to at this time. The Torch of Knowledge Award is an award given based upon an accumulation of points earned by students for academic successes and participation in service, leadership, extra-curricular and athletic activities. Students who earn this award are eligible for the CHS Letterman’s Jacket. This award is given to multiple high school students each year. The number of Torch Letters given each year is based on 5% of the high school population. In other words, if there are 400 students in grades 9-12, 20 Torch Letters would be awarded.

Students must sign up in order to be considered for this award. They may sign up via email to me by Wednesday 3/7 at 3pm. They have already received an email from me with all the details and requirements. Please talk to your child and encourage him/her to sign up!.
