ACT Test Will Be Administered to Juniors on February 27th
Dear Students and Parents:
Here are some helpful hints to prepare for the upcoming ACT test to be administered to all our junior students.
We will administer the “real” ACT to all juniors on a national district ACT test day–Tuesday, February 27, 2018. Many schools around the country administer the test to their juniors on this date. It will be a regular day of school for everyone, but we will pull all juniors out of their morning classes for them to take the ACT. It will not be an option for the students. Following the test, juniors will return to their regularly scheduled classes.
We believe that testing all of our junior students during the school day will
- Provide a comfortable, familiar test-taking environment for the students
- Allow teachers to conduct ACT prep lessons before the test date
- Give us good data for individual and group score improvement.
This is not a practice ACT. It will count as an actual ACT score. Of course, students may (and should) take the test again in April or June and again in their senior year. Here are some resources for you to explore over the school holiday and in the week leading up to the test.
