2017-2018 Students of the Year

 In Academics

In September we started the process for selecting the CHS Students of the Year for 5th, 8th and 12th grade.  This is an award program sponsored by the Louisiana State Department of Education.  Since the initial announcement of our candidates in September the nominees have preparing portfolios with their accomplishments and were interviewed by faculty.  All nine students who were involved are amazing individuals but only one student per grade can move on to the Diocesan level.

We are very pleased to announce the CHS Students of the Year.  For 5th grade Student of the Year, Nicholas Gondron has been selected.  Madelyn Moore has been selected for 8th grade Student of the Year.  Our 12th grade Student of the Year is Matthew Fangue.
