Santa Call 2017

We know everyone is looking forward to an enjoyable Thanksgiving Break! Our main focus at Catholic High is on the season of Advent and preparing for the celebration of our Savior’s birth. Our students love this time of year because they can give of themselves to those less fortunate, as well as to those who touch their lives.

In 1992, our Parents Club president – a mother of three boys – came up with the concept of Santa Call. This hard-working young mother wanted to be able to take care of all of her holiday obligations, purchase gifts for friends and family, and remember her boys’ teachers in a special way. Santa Call was born after she spoke to numerous parents who wanted to give their children’s teachers a little Christmas remembrance that would neither be too costly nor duplicated by other students. Santa Call has proven to be just what teachers love while providing an easy, inexpensive way for parents to say “you are appreciated!” Each year since 1992, parents ask us to provide them with the opportunity to make faculty and staff members’ holidays a little merrier with a Santa Call gift. We are happy to oblige and simplify your Christmas shopping!

Once again, we are offering Santa Call ONLINE!  The link for gift-giving is https://geauxbigred.com/product/santa-call/

Participating is as easy as 1-2-3!

  1. Adjust the quantity next to each faculty member’s name for the dollar amount you would like to gift them. For example, if you want to gift teacher “John Doe” with $10, you would increase his quantity to 10.
  2. Click “Add to Cart”
  3. When done, click “View Cart” to check out as usual.

No more lost forms or misplaced envelopes!  Faculty and staff members will receive a list of those who contributed to their Santa Call gifts, but not the amounts contributed, as they always have.

If you have any questions, please direct them to the Development Office by calling 376-6950 or emailing Jenny Minvielle at jminvielle@chspanthers.com .

Thank you for your gift of giving this holiday season to our hardworking faculty and staff!
