Home Sweet Homecoming
We are looking forward to a fun and successful Homecoming week here at Catholic High! Our Homecoming week this year will be October 16th-21st. The list of events and details for the week can be found below. This includes dress day ideas and restrictions. There will be no admission fees for any evening events, but concessions will be sold.
Students in grades 4-8 will play their dodgeball tournament from 5:00-6:30 in the Disch Gym, and high school students will begin their paint war at 7:00, which will take place on the softball field. Please note that the deadline to sign up was WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 11th.
Dodgeball team assignments can be found here.
Come and watch our Junior boys take on the Senior boys in an intense volleyball game! The game will be held in the Disch gym immediately following the varsity volleyball game versus Notre Dame (7:30). We are asking for all fans to come early and watch the varsity volleyball team take on their district rivals Notre Dame, as it should be a great game to watch!
Wednesday’s Powderpuff Game will be held at Panther stadium at 2:00 pm. Families are invited to join us to watch the Junior girls take on the Senior girls in an exciting flag football game.
Mass will be held in the gym at 9:20 am. Please join us for this special celebration of the Eucharist!
Our annual Homecoming Parade will be held Thursday evening at 5:30 pm. Any student wanting to participate in the parade will need to fill out a permission form and turn it in to their building level administrative assistant by Monday, October 16th. Please review the parade route so that you can find a great spot to watch the parade!
After the parade please join us for our Homecoming Bonfire. This will take place near practice football field. We will have a mini pep rally during the lighting of the bonfire by your senior football players. All are welcome to attend this event, and we are hoping for 3-4 food trucks to be selling food. Please come out to this great tradition!
The excitement begins Friday at 1:00 pm with our Homecoming Pep Rally. Guests are welcome, but we ask that you sit in the reserved parent seating area or stand along the walls of the gym. Our students often arrive after parents and must be seated in their designated class areas.
