State Science Fair Results

On March 21st and 22nd, middle school and high school students participated in the Louisiana State Science Fair. Fifteen students representing Catholic High presented their projects, and several earned awards.

In Middle School, Marcus Jacob took 3rd place in the Translational Medicine category.  In High School, Hallee Mire took 2nd Place in Behavioral Sciences, Caleb Helms took 2nd Place in Engineering and Mechanics, and Matthew Fangue took 1st Place in Translational Medicine

Caleb Helms also received the Louisiana Science Teachers Association Award. Hallee Mire and Matthew Fangue will compete at the International Science & Engineering Fair hosted in Los Angeles in May where they will represent Catholic High School and the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
