School Improvement Team (SIT)
The CHS School Improvement Team (SIT) was formed in the fall of 2003 to facilitate and evaluate implementation of the school’s SACS approved action plan and steer the school on a course of school improvement. Members of the committee represent elementary teachers, junior high teachers, high school teachers, academic council members, administration, and a SACS/CASI accredited internal facilitator/QART chair.

Team goals and duties involve the following:
- Evaluate implementation of the school’s improvement plan and compliance with SACS/CASI non-public school standards.
- Design, tabulate, and assess surveys for faculty, staff, and administration input of action plan implementation and needs to improve student learning.
- Prepare school progress and performance reports.
- Organize and host Quality Assurance Review Team (QART) visit.
- Gather and analyze data that can set a course for school improvement.
- Provide administration and academic council with suggestions and needs for school improvement plan modifications.
- Maintain a culture of continuous school improvement.
